The Temple of Jupiter, Baalbek.

The Temple of Jupiter, Baalbek, between 1870 and 1885. It is not known who commissioned or designed the temple, nor exactly when it was constructed.
In this one the wedge stone is still in place compared to the previous east view. Note the ribbed columns seen through the doorway, just as on the left in the east view from inside.
Later, as we can see in the shot temple of Jupiter seen from the north-east, they would build a wall across this area blocking the view.
