This is officially the most coo coo jumbo-crazy thing I have written to date. If anything, it is going to be an entertaining piece of reading for you. I am planning to question the geographical accuracy of the layout of the continent of Australia. I do understand how bananas it sounds, for I plan on exposing some inconsistencies, and bizarre circumstances surrounding the continent you can see below. As a result, I will present Australia as a part of a much bigger piece of land, known today as Antarctica.

It is going to be a rather convoluted hypothesis for right now. Hopefully, with time things will become less murky.

Australia_1.jpg

To make it clear: of course Australia exists as far as people living there, and cities/towns go. Which means we do have Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, etc. But the layout of the continent of Australia is misrepresented.

KD version of Australia
(preliminary)

1587 Urbano Monte's World Map

Some of the known facts about Australia

  • Initial settlement: 48,000 and 70,000 years ago
  • European discovery: 1606 by the Dutch. Initially mapped and named New Holland
  • Land Size: 2,969,907 sq mi, or 7,692,024 sq km
  • 2018 population: 25,010,300

Emphasis Points
1. Endemic Enimals
2. Animal Fences
3. Egyptian Hieroglyphs
4. Maps
5. Time Zones
6. Malaysia Flight 370 path
7. North-South Flights

1. Endemic animals
The fauna of Australia consists of a huge variety of animals; some 83% of mammals, 89% of reptiles, 24% of fish and insects and 93% of amphibians that inhabit the continent are endemic to Australia. Australia probably has between 200,000 and 300,000 species, about 100,000 of which have been described.

KD: That is a lot of unique animals native to Australia only. This is only possible if you believe in the theory of evolution. Any other way requires an unpleasant explanation.

2. Australian fences

  • The Dingo Fence of South-East Australia, 5,614 km (3,488 mi) finished in 1885
  • The Rabbit Fence of Western Australia, 3,253 km (2,021 mi), finished in 1907
Rabbit - Dingo
WA-Rabbit-Proof-fence.jpg dingo fence.png

While the significance of these fences will become obvious later on, I wanted to point out how comical the situation with rabbits is. The australian rabbit population today is estimated at approximately 300 million. During various times prior it allegedly reached as many as 600 millions of rabbits. And all this trouble was supposedly started in 1788 with 24 rabbits.

rabbit_proof_fence_0.jpg rabbit_proof_fence_1.jpg rabbit_proof_fence_2.jpg rabbit_proof_fence.jpg

Rabbit moment: Rabbits were introduced to Australia by the First Fleet in 1788 and they became a problem when Thomas Austin released 24 wild rabbits for hunting purposes in October 1859, saying that "the introduction of a few rabbits could do little harm and might provide a touch of home, in addition to a spot of hunting."

KD: Australian rabbits are the most inept rabbits in the world. They do not dig rabbit holes going under the rabbit-proof fence. And if they do, fence patrol quickly fills up those holes preventing the rabbits from getting on the other side to have sex.

rabbit-lorry-australia.jpg rabbit-proof-fence.jpg australian_rabbit_1.jpg australian_rabbit_2.jpg
Wild and Dingo dog moment: These two sub-species of dog were introduced to Australia at different times in Australian history. The dingo (Canis lupus dingo) was thought to have first come to Australia around 4000 years ago from Asia. Domestic dogs arrived with European settlers in 1788.

KD: Not so much about the dogs, but how stupid and inept our ancestors had to be. Clearly, the official position states that first humans arrived to Australia 48,000-70,000 years ago. The dogs arrived 4,000 years ago. Unless the dogs arrived by themselves, humans had to discover Australia 3 separate times, if you count 1606. I don't even want to go there... our ancestors could not possibly be that retarded, and neither are we today.

dingo_1.jpg dingo_2.jpg dingo_3.jpg dingo_4.jpg
Fence price: both fences allegedly cost $10,000,000 a year.

Feral Camels
Apparently rabbits and dogs was not enough. Here come the camels. More than 1 million feral camels roam the Australian outback.
Camel moment: There are about 750,000 (wiki version) roaming wild in the outback and they cause a host of problems. Though various sources report number camel numbers being between 1 and 1.2 million. Camels were imported to Australia in the 19th century from Arabia, India and Afghanistan for transport and heavy work in the outback.

Welcome Signs: If camels, rabbits and dingoes don't get you, these beasts will.

australia_danger_sign_1.jpg australia_danger_sign_2.jpg australia_danger_sign_3.jpg australia_danger_sign_4.jpg
KD: Everything screams - don't go on the other side of the fence.

3. Egyptian Hieroglyphs
According to local residents that have had the opportunity to see and study these hieroglyphs, they seem to be extremely ancient, written in the archaic style of the early dynasties, a style that has been studied very little and is untranslatable by most Egyptologists who have learned to read Middle Egyptian upward. According to the information provided to us, there is only a handful of people on Earth who can actually read and translate this early writing system, making them seem even more valuable to history.

- 5.000 year old Egyptian hieroglyphs found in Australia?
- This is what the 5,000-year-old ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs in Australia say
- There has been a controversial discovery of hieroglyphs in Australia

KD: For me it signifies the presence of the Global Civilization, rather then Ancient Egyptians traveling to Australia.

4. Older maps
The below maps are dated between 1507 and 1787. Australia was allegedly discovered by Europeans in 1606.

Where is Australia?

1507 - Typus_Orbis_Terrarum_drawn_by_Abraham_Ortelius.jpg OrteliusWorldMap.jpeg Gerard_De_Jode,_Universi_Orbis_seu_Terreni_Globi,_1578.png 16th century_Carte-du-monde-au-XVIème-siècle..jpg Le_Testu_1556_4th_projection.jpg Athanasius Kircher, Mundus Subterraneus, Amsterdam 1668.jpg
1588_This map was completely redrawn and re-engraved for the 1588 edition of Sebastian Münste...jpg map-terra-australis-hall-1607.jpg 1773_terra-australis-incognita.jpg australia_1587.png
Apart from accusing individuals, who were able to map the entire known World, in being incompetent... what is the reason for today's Australia to be absent on these maps (especially on the ones made well after 1606)? Looking at the above maps with proper attention, one will notice, that the southern continent "Terra Australis" is not some place holder, but rather has a very specific land line and various locations.

5. Time Zones
This is the weakest part of all. Australia uses three main time zones: Australian Western Standard Time, Australian Central Standard Time, and Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Though the image below, and on Wiki, shows that we have 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm at the same time. The time zone break down below suggests to me that the continent could be a bit wider, meaning East to West.

Australia-Timezones.png

China is an interesting country, for it entirely fits within one time zone. Wonder what the true reason is.

asia-time-zone-map.jpg
While the Time Zone issue is the weakest point of the entire topic, primarily due to some other countries having a somewhat similar situation (for example the United States) it does raise a few questions.

As you can see below (Australia), even official sources do not agree with each other.
world-time-zone-clock-map.jpg

How accurate is the entire world map layout?... being one of those. Apart from the official gibberish, what prevents us from simply using Longitude to assign time zones? What is the true reason for this complexity? This is a topic for some other thread.

6. Malaysia Flight 370 path

mh370-flight-path-map.jpg

While the official version states, "Cause unknown, some debris found", it was highly disputed, and there was never any conclusive concrete evidence of the aircraft located. The disappearance of MH370 produced multiple conspiracy theories pertaining to its fate.

KD: The Flight MH370 headed South, and landed safely on one of the continents not included on the traditional globe model.

7. North-South Flights over the Antarctica
The lack of flights over the Antarctica is explained with its remoteness, no emergency landing opportunities and a multitude of other reasons. Whether there could be alternate reasons for not flying North-South is up to the reader of this article. Google has plenty of those.

world_fleight_map.png

8. Antarctic Treaty System - ATS
ATS expires in 2048

Antarctica is the Earth’s only continent without a native human population, and no one country can claim to own it. Unique in the world, it is a land dedicated to science and all nations. The treaty sets aside Antarctica as a scientific preserve, establishes freedom of scientific investigation and bans military activity on the continent. The treaty entered into force in 1961 and currently has 53 parties.

ats_antarctica.jpg

The treaty sets aside Antarctica as a scientific preserve, establishes freedom of scientific investigation and bans military activity on the continent.

Oxymoronic: Because the Antarctic Treaty, which came into effect on June 23, 1961, bans military activity in Antarctica, military personnel and equipment may only be used for scientific research or any other peaceful purpose on the continent.

Can you explore on your own? Appears so but... No planes. No boats. No motorized vehicles. No dogs! Carry your own poop – with a permit! Listen to the related podcast.

KD: the only place on Earth they do not drill for Crude Oil.
KD 2: Bogus cruise trips are available for $10k a pop.

9. Admiral Richard E. Byrd interview
Rear Admiral Richard Evelyn Byrd (1888 – 1957) was an American naval officer and explorer. He was a recipient of the Medal of Honor, the highest honor for valor given by the United States, and was a pioneering American aviator, polar explorer, and organizer of polar logistics. Aircraft flights in which he served as a navigator and expedition leader crossed the Atlantic Ocean, a segment of the Arctic Ocean, and a segment of the Antarctic Plateau. Byrd claimed that his expeditions had been the first to reach both the North Pole and the South Pole by air. However, his claim to have reached the North Pole is disputed.

Richard-E-Byrd_1.jpg

He is not being taken seriously these days because... why would he be taken seriously? He stated some outlandishly crazy things, when considered from the dogmatic point of view. Some of those things could be considered sensational. Why these esteemed gentleman would lie to us, is beyond me. Please listen to his short interview below, and make your own opinion of what he means.

Rear Admiral Richard Evelyn Byrd Jr., USN (October 25, 1888 – March 11, 1957) was an American naval officer who specialized in feats of exploration. He was a recipient of the Medal of Honor, the highest honor for valor given by the United States, and was a pioneering American aviator, polar explorer, and organizer of polar logistics. Additional information on Richard Byrd can be obtained on Wikipedia or Britannica.

“Strangely enough, there is an area left in the world today... an area as big as the United States, that’s never been seen by a human being.”, Byrd stated, referencing it as the land “beyond the South Pole” during the show.

It’s “for science”, Byrd said, “It’s an untouched reservoir of natural resources”.
* * * * *
KD Summary: This hypothesis is pretty weak so far. Though I did not mention Nazi Ahnenerbe, and their Neuschwabenland; the World dignitaries visiting Antarctica were not mentioned either. Both are an integral part of the Antarctic mystery.

First humans arrived to Australia 48,000-70,000 years ago. The dingoes first came to Australia around 4000 years ago from Asia (either by themselves or humans kept on arriving?). Europeans discovered Australia in 1606. What's wrong with this picture?

In my little map allegedly re-copied in 1587 by Urbano Monte we can see Camels, Rabbits, Dogs, Crocodiles and other creatures. Same mentioned animals are in abundance on the Australian continent today. The continent of Australia was discovered in 1606 according to the official scientific version. This looks like an interesting coincidence at the very least. I did not find any kangaroos, but those are not the only Australian animals not depicted on the Monte's map.

How did they know in 1587?

Two-legged lizard snake_Australia_2_1.jpg
Two-legged lizard snake_Australia_1.png

Also, the uniqueness of the animal species suggests that there was either a major genetic modification conducted there, or the species belong to an outside land mass to which we are only partially privy to. The other option would be the traditional evolution.

At the same time I do not 100% agree with my own map here. Just like I said, my concept is pretty weak so far. I do think that Australia is a part of the Antarctic land circle.

australia_1587_3.jpg

This is not a Flat Earth discussion. Please, do not turn this topic into a Flat Earth thing. I will say that the Earth does not have to be flat for us to live on a flat surface. I do think that we are limited by our dogmatic spherical constraints allowing for no additional land masses. The World we live in just might end up being MUCH BIGGER than what we were allowed to enjoy.

earth_surface.jpg
That said, if @CyborgNinja, @The Kraken, @The Wack, or any other Australian forum member would like to assist with this little investigation, that would be awesome.

Sad humor: This rabbit fence sounds way too ridiculous. If rabbits are such sex monsters, it is hardly believable that a couple of them maniacs did not sneak out for some hanky-panky action on the western side of the fence.

rabbit_australia.jpg

I'm interested to find out how easy it is to travel beyond those fences: east to west, and north to south.

While I did find a few claims of people crossing Australia North to South using a regular car (trains and planes do not count), they mean as much as Fyodor Konyukhov's claim of crossing the Pacific Ocean.

It's a far reach, but if anybody goes on vacation and wants to do some extreme driving, please consider crossing Australia by car. Below is the general route idea.

The shape of the Earth is unknown

There were some Russian classified 1948 documents available to the US intelligence which directly stated that the shape of the Earth is unknown. I do not know what the source of the docs is. I just cut out a couple screens from this video. This video has tons of government docs in it which make you wonder.

Right off the bat I can say without a doubt that these Hieroglyphs are fake. They appeared one day and had since had many additions made. I studied Hieroglyphs while I was investigating this particular site a few years ago and I can tell you there grammar and format are wrong. At least for known Hieroglyphic uses from Egypt. Its just random symbols arrange haphazardly.

As for the shape of Australia I would not rule out a distortion. Terra Australis incognita was the idea that there was an equal sized landmass in the southern hemisphere. This theory would answer that. Great article.

I am not an expert on Australian Egyptian hieroglyphs, lol. I just read a few articles on the matter.

- Hieroglyphics Experts Declare Ancient Egyptian Carvings in Australia to be Authentic.
Not only has the Khemit team deemed the Gosford ‘Glyphs legitimate, they believe the scribes who created them accurately used a number of ancient hieroglyphs and ‘grammatical’ variations that were not even documented in Egyptian hieroglyphic texts until 2012.
- 5,000-Year-Old Egyptian Hieroglyphs Found In Australia Prove History Is Wrong.
Upon studying the ancient hieroglyphics, many researchers believe in the authenticity of the glyphs. The glyphs also use a form of ancient Egyptian sentence and grammatical structuring that were only recently discovered.
It's real hard these days to know what's true and what's not. Especially when those experts say both ways. After all, who needs the ancient Egyptians in Australia?

As far as this Terra Australis and an equal mass goes. I remember when I went to school my geography teacher explained that the reason the older maps were missing half of the North America was due to the North-West not being mapped yet.

1664_Nova_et_Accuratissima_Terrarum_Orbis_Tabula.png 1682 Nova Orbis Tabula, in Lucem Edita, A.F. de Wit.jpg
Essentially, as far as I understand, the science will explain things like that in the way which suits its agenda. There is no consistency there, what so ever. Clearly both of the explanations are just speculations. How else could they explain the presence of this huge Antarctic land mass on the 1510-1780 maps, if it was only officially discovered in 1820?

Great write-up as always. The idea is intriguing and has some merit.

Could a longer Australia like below not also address many of the points you made as well? It looks almost twice as far across as the US.

Incomplete larger Gleason's.jpg

Either way, I would be curious to see Antarctica outside of a tour and compare it to Monte's map.

These are the types of conspiracies that fascinate me the most because of how much significant of a world changer it would be if we were to find it to be a proven fact.

I went on youtube to see if I could find more information and search results for simply "australia conspiracy" is riddled with videos specifically titled "Is australia fake?" Ridiculing anyone for even considering the possibility. Completely overlooking the more detailed pieces of information presented in this article, but rather focusing on the how ludicrous of an idea it is to think people in the popular cities could not exist. As if making anyone questioning it look like a loon.

Keep up the good thought-provoking work! I also believe this world is a lot larger than we have been led to assume.

There's a rather simple answer to this idea of Australia being different than assumed.

The old maps were right, and the new maps are also right. Go to raremaps.com for example and look up the evolution of "Terra Australis" (means something like unknown land in the south)

Australia wasn't completely discovered in 1606, but only the western coast line. They were obviously using the old maps to navigate, and did not even expect modern day Australia.

After time they began to realize that the old Terra Australis wasn't anywhere to be found. When no one could find the old Terra Australis anymore, people were a bit puzzled but just decided that the newly found continent should be named Australia. Apparently it took around 200 years for this whole process, which is a bit long.

A summary can be found on Wikipedia (which of course assumes that all maps until recently were completely fantasy and everyone was just lying. Right, that's how you succesfully voyage the sea!

The basic and most important truth is that the old maps were created with complete seriousness. Our planet was completely different only 500 years ago, and the entire Antarctica was ice free. Around 1600 modern day Australia split off from Antarctica, while the main part of Antarctica was submerged under ice during the following decades. Animals from Antarctica survived when the split happened, and that's why there are the some of the species we can see on the old map living in Australia today.

I worked alot in South Aus. Mainly port augusta , port wakefield and adrossan. The only thing i can add is that the area is very very flat. Like drive for 2hours at 130kmh and not climb a hill or decend a valley flat.(I have been on top of a cell tower at 120m on a perfectly flat plane and witnessed what you could call the curvature of the earths surface. I feel the earth is much larger than we are shown not flat.) The coastal parts where more varied in there slopes and such. It honestly felt like the entire place had been flattened on purpose. The other point is the entire population lives in a tiny ring around the outside with almost no development of the interior. It would be entirely possible for another country/state to exist within the outback and be completely undetected . Sorry i cant be a better source .

As an Australian this topic is quite funny to me. I'll first mention that this map

map.jpg

I find astonishing. This map is really from 1668? It is as far as I can tell.

In 1627 the south coast of Australia was accidentally discovered by François Thijssen
Abel Tasman's voyage of 1642 was the first known European expedition to reach Van Diemen's Land (later Tasmania) and New Zealand (or was he, later in this post challenges that), and to sight Fiji.

The map has Amsterdam in the title so I assume it is dutch origin? The dutch were the 'first' europeans to have been verified to find and explore Australia. If they found the west and south coast before this map was made how did the map maker come up with this? I find it suspect in general that Australia was left mostly undisturbed for 200 odd years after 'discovery' because the dutch were just like "meh".

Terra Australis Incognita ("the unknown land of the south") is the title used here, but how unknown was it to dutch cartography in 1668? They had bloody found the place and explored some coasts of it.

The bulk of the Australian land mass lies between latitudes 10 degrees 41 minutes (10°41´) south (Cape York, Queensland) and 43°38´ south (South East Cape, Tasmania), and between longitudes 113°09´ east (Steep Point, Western Australia) and 153°38´ east (Cape Byron, New South Wales). (This is from official Aus gov site)

whilst translating some Spanish documents captured in the Philippines in 1762, found de Torres's testimony. This discovery led Dalrymple to publish the Historical Collection of the Several Voyages and Discoveries in the South Pacific Ocean in 1770–1771.

The number of inhabitants in the Southern Continent is probably more than 50 millions, considering the extent, from the eastern part discovered by Juan Fernandez, to the western coast seen by Tasman, is about 100 deg. of longitude, which in the latitude of 40 deg. amounts to 4596 geographic, or 5323 stature miles.
(As far as I can tell, he is speaking exclusively about Australia here. Or just aus+nz? Todays population is just 25 million or so.)
The east part discovered my Fernandez is I think New Zealand.
NZ to east coast of Aus = 1000 miles
Width of australia = 2500 miles
Total = 3500 miles
Total given by de Torres = 5323 stature miles (I don't use miles since we use metric here but as far as I can research a 'stature' mile or 'statute' mile i'm not sure of the spelling here there are some discrepancies, are the same or very close.)
There might be some oddities with the numbers but even including new zealand which is a fair distance away from Australia their numbers make it seem much bigger. The southern 'continent' that is.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Fernández_(explorer)
I reccomend anyone to read about Juan Fernandez look at this excerpt

As a result, Jufré changed the official itinerary and pretended his expedition would only sail to the islands discovered by Fernández in 1574. In fact, the real destination of the expedition was still Terra Australis. Soon Juan Fernandez set sail from Valparaíso. After heading west for one month along the 40th parallel south, in the spring of 1576 they arrived in an island described as "mountainous, fertile, with strong-flowing rivers, inhabited by white peoples, and with all the fruits necessary to live".[1]
40th parallel south lines up with new zealands north island by the way. Fernandez was supposedly an amazing navigator earnin the nickname wizard of the pacific. Who were these white people he found? New Zealand fits the bill as mountainous and fertile. I know this is off topic from Australia a bit but you will find exploration of the region is closely linked together. I find it of note that mainstream history rejects the portugese discovering these areas before the dutch or british. This needs further investigation.

Mainstream historians do not however accept these claims. University of Auckland history professor James Belich said that similar claims that the French and Chinese discovered New Zealand prior to Abel Tasman in 1642 have also been put forward. "I think there are a number of theories of this kind and all are highly unlikely.".[3]
(So, you think no one found the country of New Zealand EVER before 1642?)

So what is the deal? Was the australian and antarctic landmass a 50 million strong population of white people? That's the most fantastical combination of accounts but still something is up right? Maybe something entirely seperate happened with New Zealand, but who were these white people he found?

Also find it suspect that Antarctica was just apparently never found in the official history we are told until 1800s and later. Is that supposed to be the explanation here of the map? He just thought Australia was the most south? It doesn't add up still unless he is the worst map drawer of all ages.

That being said it's hard for me to fathom my country being a different shape haha. But stranger things are probably true.

For accounts of exploration perhaps look here

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_who_have_walked_across_Australia

There are some links from that page to diaries and books of people who have made the trips all around. You would want older ones i guess? I think most likely if anything is up it happened 200+ years ago and the current shape is reflective of reality but who can say for sure.

There are also "grey nomads" which is the phenomenon of retirees travelling the country in their caravans and cars.

I don't know much specifically about the fences though (and not sure I get your point on the fences).

What you think of this video and the channel? Small channel of russian guy supposedly in space. Just recently got shared on reddit somewhere.
