Tomb of the family of Statilius Taurus
As excavated in 1875, at the expense of the Company of the Italian Fund. The tomb, full of columbaria, is here seen from above. It is situated near the Porta Maggiore, in the same large vineyard in wich stands the fine building of the third century, called Minerva Medica. Rome, Italy.
